{the hub celebrates a trifecta of marketing awards!}

The Hub Marketing Communications (The Hub) is celebrating winning a trifecta of annual marketing awards in a range of categories from the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI), with the team scooping awards in two categories at the recently announced 2017 WA Marketing Excellence awards.

The 2017 award winning work developed by The Hub was created for the Gab Titui Cultural Centre on Thursday Island in the Torres Strait, for the categories of Public Sector Marketing and Brand Revitalisation.

“Winning these awards clearly demonstrates that we punch well above our weight and deliver quality marketing and business outcomes for our clients across Australia,” said The Hub Managing Director, Nicolle Jenkins.

“We are proud to represent Gab Titui Cultural Centre on Thursday Island.  We have worked with them for the last two years in revitalising their brand, market research, developing a retail strategy and products.  It’s a very rewarding experience,” she continued.

The Hub has worked in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait sector for more than a decade and enjoys the challenge of making a real difference in the marketing and brand positioning of iconic and culturally important organisations, leaders and communities.

Previously, The Hub won a national award for Revealed – an Aboriginal art event for the Department of Culture and the Arts and Nicolle was awarded the 2016 National Certified Practicing Marketer.

“Just being a finalist for the awards is a well-fought achievement.  They are highly competitive and the submission must clearly demonstrate a ROI for your client, to ensure there are real deliverables,” Jenkins said.

“It is a total blast to be recognised for the last three consecutive years for The Hub team’s work – they deserve the recognition and reward.  It demonstrates our focus in really understanding and listening to our clients, to then collaboratively create the best solutions possible,” she concluded.
