The last few months have been very exciting. We are fortunate to work alongside some inspirational clients to provide marketing, design, PR and web development and communications implementation services.
The Hub has again gone offshore and I’ve been lucky to visit another beautiful remote part of Australia. We are developing a marketing plan for the Gab Titui Cultural Centre. The Centre is in the Torres Strait and located on Thursday Island. It has been incredibly rewarding working with the Centre team and the artists from the island communities.
In other news, we also completed another Revealed with the Department of Culture and the Arts, to promote emerging Aboriginal artists.
In a volunteer capacity, I was fortunate to cofound a small business movement called Small Business Matters. Kitty Prodonovich (CEO of the Regional Chambers of Commerce) and I decided it was time to celebrate the 210,000+ small businesses in WA. This Think Small First initiative was celebrated on WA's first Small Business Day on Saturday 11 July. We are proud of what we were able to achieve on a massive budget of $350! This was achieved through some generous partnerships including us, Lush Digital, Advance Press, Toucan and The Backlot Studios Perth. Next year is already shaping up to be bigger and better and we’re excited to see the whole concept evolve and grow.
